The Fitch Foundation's mission is to support projects that promotes exercise and healthy lifestyles for the youth of the Eastern Montana Region. Our current project is locating funding, design and construction to ensure the skatepark is built self-maintained.
The Big Secret.....
The Fitch Foundation was recently contacted by Jeff Ament for an astonishing $40,000 bowl donation from Jeff Ament and the Montana Pool Service. Jeff grew up in Big Sandy, Montana and while achieving tremendous success in the music industry as the bassist and co-founder of Pearl Jam, Jeff has made it a mission to pay it back as an activist, philanthropist, and skate park builder. Jeff founded the skate company Montana Pool Service which is pushing to build skate parks in every small town.
Jeff designed the bowl himself and teamed with Dreamland Skate parks to add the bowl to the Brett Fitch Memorial Skate park project that is now in construction. With the addition of the bowl, the snake run (phase 2) portion of the project was shortened to accommodate room for the bowl. With the phase 2 deduction, the Fitch Foundation will be raising funds for the entire project. The entire project; including the new bowl and snake run will be completed by August 15th.
The Fitch Foundation is still fundraising for the last $28,000 to complete the project on time. Please show your support by donating at our website or at any of the upcoming fundraising events:

Words from Jeff regarding the design of the bowl:
"Here's my two bits:
Whitefish has the square pool with the bonus clam, Missoula has a left kidney, St. Ignatius has a right kidney and a clover,
Anaconda has a square capsule, Butte has has right kidney, Big Sandy has a boomerang and Dillion has a Hot Wheels track. There are no amoebas in Montana and now Glendive will have the only one, complete with Tedder's pool block, built by the pioneers of modern skatepark construction, Dreamland Skateparks.
I can't wait to come out to the Badlands and skate your new park.
